The location was perfect for exploring historic downtown.
Unfortunately, the coffee maker was broken, frustrating. The floors creaked loudly. I found the bed to be quite noisy with any movement, bothersome during the night.

A dining area, a sitting area, and a stone fireplace inside the a double room were handy. And the bathroom was great-sized;)))

Opus House Historic was such a good stay! The bed's super comfy, and I loved that there were plenty of extra pillows. The rocking chair on the porch was perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the historic sites. Just a heads-up, the coffee maker didn't work right.

Too many overpowering fragrances everywhere!!! The coffee maker didn't function well, clearly missing a part!!! The creaky floors and bed were quite distracting during the night!!!

The extra comfy bed made for a restful night, complemented by a cozy atmosphere that seemed like home. My room had a stocked refrigerator, a perk for snacks after long outings. Enjoying the rocking chair on the porch while soaking in the ambiance was a good touch. On the downside, the location could be tricky to navigate for those unfamiliar, and the absence of breakfast options required some planning. Some kitchen appliances, like the coffee maker, may need attention.

Spacious rooms with a fridge & coffee bar. An outdoor area. You can stroll to downtown, filled with charming shops and tasty spots. The shower had great pressure-definitely a win!
The bed could use some oil. It creaked a lot, especially when moving around.

Super comfy and safe stay!
I had a fantastic solo trip! The location's perfect for getting to the river and downtown shops. I loved having a fridge and microwave for snacks. The rocking chair on the porch was a nice touch after long days exploring. Just keep in mind, it's a guesthouse, so no breakfast service. Stairs can be a bit steep if you have heavy bags.
